kingoftoosh 15
Well ,the day i@ve been waiting for for a long time finally came today. My first shoot on permission.I was camo'd from head to toe,Gun greased up and ready to go,maggie deek sorted crow caller check ,fresh rabbitt slit up belly for bait for crows. Only thing missing was some dead crows. Drew a blank but loved it + learned a bit too. Found some good places to hide out where i cant be seen. Zero'd my rifle to about 30 yds,(gun club range is only 20 yds).also learned how to do a crackin crow call on my acme caller,by blowing into it although I was clearing my throat and bringing guitar up. the call worked a treat as all the magpies near started going mental and crows flew in from all directions. The only thing I did wrong was miss the wee bandits . After a while crows dissappeared into to neighbouring fields ,only to keep flying back to check if i was still there, turning in mid air when they saw me . Used this time to explore my new surroundings.Only managed to take 2 pics, dont know if I'll be able to put them up as I've struggled before. Going back up tomorrow morning and I'm more confident that I'll bag a few . Quote Link to post

Both are on the same street (National Avenue) next door to each other! Sounds like Duncans unfortunately being at the end of the Motorway we pay a premium for everything round here Every thing is more expensive than other cities. There is a real dump of a gun shop about 200 yards away from the one on Paragon Square. If you ever go in, you'll know what I mean, but they are a tiny touch cheaper. the people who run it must be at least 200 years old now Called Hutchinsons on Anlaby Road. Phantom Quote Link to post
