rabbits drinking

could anyone tell me ,do rabbits need to drink water , or do they get enough liquid from the grass? if so how do they get it when its a dry summer?

There's a certain amount of water in all grass, no matter how dry it is. Not sure if it's the same, but a gerbil can extract all the water it needs from dried food.

On a patch of grass I drive past which is outside some offices, there is normally 5 or so rabbits, today when I drove past to pick the Mrs up from work after a thunder storm there were 23, and there's always higher numbers after it rains, I've also noticed rabbits dig up and eat more roots when its been dry for a while, but grass does hold a fair bit of moisture
