br4568hldrs 16
As soon as I get it home I prep it and put them in cold salt water for 24hrs, that takes the after taste out you sometimes get with rabbit, then if I want to store the meat it's in fresh water on boil for 2 an half hrs, meat will fall off, cover in olive oil and it will keep in the fridge for 2 weeks! Fresher is best but the long soak in salt water is defo worth it. That's what the top chefs do! Havnt had bunny curry? Looks like that's what for dinner! LOL

Guest eddie 1
how do you get the membrane off after skinning the rabbit ?
br4568hldrs 16
how do you get the membrane off after skinning the rabbit ? Go on you tube and type in, preparing rabbit. It will show you a few different ways, that way you can see which way is best for you. I only remove the left over membrane round its stomach if I'm boiling/roasting it. As for frying it I only use the two strips from its back and its hind legs which istnt too fidly to do, make sur your using a sharp knife James.
