Spray citronella on yourself. (Dont forget your feet) and don't worry the rabbits/foxes, they wont smell it. Iv'e never had any problems.

Citronella never worked for me, i don't have the answer but the wife always takes me as they just love to eat me and leave her alone.

I think that the citronella spray is like the stuff I brought back from turkey what is the brand you use arctic and where can it be bought.

Lee 85 Ive just read the reviews of the repel 100 and it sound like its great stuff but will it dammage the varnish on my rifle stock as it says that it strips nail polish ,have you used this product mate and if so have you had any problems with it.I just spoke to my mate and he said that he tried repel 55 and it caused the rubber eye cups on his binoculars to perish prematurely.....

Or make you own:

Citronella Spray Recipe:

Citronella keeps bugs away from humans and animals, so make enough spray to cover you and your family as well as your pet. Combine 1 cup of water with 1 tbsp. of eucalyptus oil, 1 cup of bath oil, 3 tbsp. of citronella oil, and 2 cups of vinegar. Shake well inside a spray bottle. In regions with large pest infestations, add a couple more drops of citronella oil to increase repellency. If you plan to spend a lot of time outdoors, make extra spray for a later application. As the repellent wears off, you will notice an increased sensitivity to bugs and that may signify that it's time for a second coat of spray.

Avoid wearing blue as apparently they like it (??) and hang around with folks with O Positive blood as they like that too

When it comes to big clouds of mozzies as I know you get up there then I found citronella works but I hate the smell of it myself!!

If you can get hold of some, use neem oil - its the base that is used on all citronella sprays & its the stuff that works, not the citronella.

Try a health store or one of the hippy folks on the market (ever wonder why they don't get bitten).

Hope this helps

Just grow a pair of balls and deal with them

Ive been working in forestry in the Scottish Highlands all week and I believe I am now immune to the wee baastards.

Avon skin so soft (or TRIPLE S if you don't want to sound like a poof) is the only stuff that I have found works.
