Never hit your dog after you recall it!

get him out on a day time then recall him over and over untill your happy!

Then go out with the lamp do abit recall again.

Now All you have to do is calm down when he dose piss about call him back and when he dose come back put him on the lead walk him back to the car wait 20 min go back out slip him again call him if he dose not come back wait dont get pissed off as he will sence it

put him back on the lead back to car wait try again! just stay clam you might have to do this for 4/5 nights but it will all pay off in the end!!

more or less the same as above had a dog do this and have helped a few lads at this same problem . one good thing in this is the dog is showing that it is keen . what i would do take him day time as many times as you can with a pocket full off treets , even do this in your garden recall him as soon as he comes give him the treet . simple. keep at him then try and try again i have seen many a lad givr up hope only to see the dog 6mths down the line to see another man end up with a good dog. stick at it and best of luck keep me posted on this one are you throwing dummys for him daytime or balls

sounds like its not mature enough to be out yet

bollox absolute bollox. take him out and keep calling the dog over and over give him praise when he comes back and tell him off when he doesnt come back without beating the living daylights out of him. you need keep ontop of it repeation over and over he will soon get the idea. a question how long have you had the dog? if you had him from a pup there is no excuse for having these problems at this age its down to pure lazyness not training the dog. best of luck with it

What the f...!! dont people talk shit on here!!

Its all about disapline mate, most people on here who have had more than one lurcher will have experienced this problem or something similar... Gets it recall sorted, without the smell of game.. praise your dog when he does something right. Help it learn mate, thats what your there for. Your its master and you make the decisions....

If you listen to people like JT, you'l get nowhere mate. Been asking her or him to tell us there tally of last seasons catch now for the last 4months, nothing... wouldnt do this a a rule but there posts to other fellow hunters is quite rediculous...

Good luck with it mate, and dont give up, be firm, "and you can let the dog know your pissed off", just always be the master...
