oakey 57
Started to go through all the gear for the coming season thought i would look to see if i could calibrate the ferret finders as they do work but not brilliantly .I cant see any screws inside the box .Any help would be appreciated i think they are mk2 boxes they are still grey in colour and square. If any one can help with pics any chance of getting it pinned as the question seems to come round alot .I did read a good report on here once but didn't take it in (i think it was by ald salmon) Quote Link to post
The one 8,479
If its grey and square in colour its a mk1 box i think they where 11 types made .If its grey and carrot shaped its a mk2 ,i know you can get the mk1 serviced but no sure about the mk2 Quote Link to post
oakey 57
It's defiantly grey and square the reason i thought it may be mk2 was my mates collar has 2 bats where mine only has one bigger bat . The chap who services the mk1 would that be mick dadd . Quote Link to post

PETEWINN 5
All the square grey boxes are Mk1. People get confused because the sticker on the dial often says Mk2 or Mk3 which is the variant of the wheel on the Mk1 finders. Mk2 and Mk3 finders are like Star Trek Phasers. Calibration on Mk1 finders is done via two pot resistors. They are usually either blue or black in colour and are adjusted using a small screwdriver. Quote Link to post
