Hemp net making kit

Im thinking about trying out net making ans saw this kit on jbs website http://www.jbsnets.co.uk/shop/product_info.php?cPath=315&products_id=4724&design=&dm=http://www.jbsnets.co.uk/shop/&d_num=&osCsid=428d7ead49cfa6372d9a5e53db54cfe9 everythings there to make 15 purse nets. Is hemp better than spun nylon because ive only got spun nylon ones. What do you guys think. Thanks Billy.

don't sound to bad and you get the dvd to learn from good for a starter kit go for it

If you want to make your own nets then I think hemp is best to start with. It is not so hard on your fingers as spun nylon which has to be double knotted......Just my opinion

You can get spun poly kits from either jbs or agouti . spun poly doesnt need double knotting and wont rot like the parcel string will

Hemp makes brilliant nets and have made and owned 100s of these over the years BUT i must say a few years ago i was converted to the bright coloured spun polys avaliable on the market

now i dont own anything else but spun poly is easy to see handles nicely and lasts for years even if its not dried which in my book gives it the edge over hemp as hemp has to be dried when it gets

wet or it will rot this is not knocking anyone who uses hemp i just think spun poly has got the edge over hemp nowadays

If you can get 15 nets made, then thats £1.26 per net, so thats not bad

Just been on the phone to james at jbs and the dvd doesnt work which the kit comes with so just going to get the spun poly 1 from agouti. Thanks.
