para1 11
my ferret was used for ratting prior to me getting him, problem is now you really need to identify yourself to him when he comes back out of a rabbit burrow or he will bite first ask questions later. hes my only adult worker so i cant risk sending him in after rats. or i could be stuck without a ferret for the season. Very good reasons to use a smoker.A smoker is made with a 2stroke engine(chainsaw, strimmer)do not ad extra oil to the mixture it will make it unreliable to start. You don't need to see lots of smoke,it's the fumes that bolt rats not smoke. You will ruin ferrets on rats. Good luck P1 Quote Link to post
