Well we headed off to meet the lads in very strong winds last night everyone was well wrapped up bar one,We arrived at the destination only to find 3 lads already there they said they were having no luck fishing on maggots & worms so we wished them good luck & went about our own job, Cheshire Poacher drew first blood for us things were slow at first but as we got some sweetcorn & trout pellets in the water all started to improve we were all starting to pull a few in by now the wind was almost blowing us in to the water Deno the only one not wrapped up was by now almost blue with cold so as the rain started to fall it was time to be on our way we ended the night with 44 8 of which were blue trout the rest being rainbow.

Excellent result guys,had several hundred trout in the last year but never seen a "Blue" Did the 3 lads who were "Poaching" your spot when you first arrived catch owt?

They had drawn a blank when we asked but they must have been sick watching our night light bouncing all over the water

Should have given them a few tips and a sample of your bait Theres a program on BBC2 at 8pm,the guy is fishing for brown trout in London,might find a new venue if I watch it
