lve had dogs to kill a lot of hares like rabbits on the lamp as well and l have a lot of rubbish dogs but come winter the hares start to move and the dogs dont look so good winter is the best tester for a dog

The thing that always becomes blatantly obvious on threads like these is peoples opinions in that, if they and there own dogs haven't accomplished something, then it can't be done and no one else has.

i have seen leecs chloe take double figures on more than one accasion .i have had double figures with her litter brother casper more than once

we are bothe willing to match are dogs and anyone who wants to see them do there job is welcome.what we say is true and we are willing to prove it. we are not being big headed fellas we no it takes a very good animel to do what we are saying thats why we cherish them so much.some people wont beleave a word thats how things are all i can say is have a ride down and see

the dog casper is that the dog which was bred to mb s kat,?

if so should be some pups as ive seen her do double numbers many a time and take upto 70 rabbits in anight

ya i would normaly call it a night at around 10 bunnys myself the way i see it is leave sum for others and some to breed and just take what u gunna eat keeps the sport goin imo atb stew

I no wat you mean by saving some for others etc but where we go theres alot of stuff about and if the dogs are fit we like to get at them and test the dogs plus I like to sell a few, but alot go too the dogs during the winter, but then agian dont mind a look out local for a couple of runs and the odd bit other game but at the end of the day its the enjoyment of what you do and if you enjoy it and the dogs put there all in then thats all that matters.good hunting all.

most of you have seen these pics over the last few seasons

 

100 rabbits this night , both dogs catching exactly 50 each

over the last 20 odd years me and some of my hunting partners have had plenty big bags,getting 50-60-70's its all about having very fit dogs, getting on land with plenty of rabbits and a big disire by the hunter himself, cos it can be fecking tiring i can tell ya.

 

the lad in the top pic ginny spiner off here could have pushed that dog to real big numbers i have no dowt it would have gone up to the 70 - mark or beyond , however we will never now, as the dog is sadly gone. but theres replacements , so lets see what the season holds.
