kevin from bristol 95 Posted August 10, 2010 Author Report Share Posted August 10, 2010 i don't go out for big bags, but when it happens its a great nite ,i like to use all i catch all my animals are fed and my family also i keep a freezer well stocked and have to, to feed just my animals your right its not about the bag was just wondering what kind of numbers were out there , have read all the old storys of days gone by,when the bags were massive it seems a different world now Quote Link to post

jigsaw 11,863 Posted August 10, 2010 Report Share Posted August 10, 2010 The largest bag I ever had back when......was 42 rabbits a hare and a fox.The dog was Cloudy and he worked alone that night.He was a very game dog and you couldnt tire him out.I was sick the night he hit a cow scratching stone in the middle of the field.I didnt keep a lurcher after that for 9 years.Havent had a dog as good as him since. romany52 313 Posted August 10, 2010 Report Share Posted August 10, 2010 Had a bitch catch 46 one night,first 10 without missing, then got the next 5, a lot of the 46 were out of the seat though, stamina weren't its strong point but it was very clever. One memorable night, only saw one rabbit all night, long slip, up jumped the rabbit before the dog got there, just got into it's stride then hit a telegraph pole and killed it's self.So all we had that night was one suicide . 1 Quote Link to post
