A very BIG thank you to all those who supported the show in each and every way. To the judges who did their job with style and impartiality, the helpers leading up to and on the day, each of which gave their time so willingly and freely. It's men and women like that who make the other 364 days of the year battling with the antis feel that extra bit more worthwhile

Congratulations to Martyn with his Russell dog "Dodge" who not only won the Open Show but also took the overal Champion of Champions, and to Dai with his 6 year old lakeland dog "Tupac" which not only took Reserve Champion of Champions 2010 but was also Champion of Champions in 2009 and won the Open Show in 2008. Winners really don't get any more deserving than that, as was pretty clear from the load cheer which greeted Darren's final decision.

 

A special mention of Joy our Show Secretary and all her hard work - without her the show simply wouldn't happen, to Darren's lovely wife for dressing him so impeccably (behind every good man etc...) and to Lynne for returning the best polished trophy I've ever seen.

 

It was a pleasure to be able to spend time amongst such good honest sporting company, we look forward to seeing you all at Ragley Hall in 2011.

alli how many times have you left show early in a huff,sulking and complaining.

 

this is the best laugh, i personally seen you go to the tent and ask for your minor placings rosettes at the selby game fair this year because the rosettes hadent turned up on the first day.you went and took your raffle ticket back to the organisers the next day and asked for your rosettes.show pony dont make me laugh

 

i was only stood next to you and your wife a few weeks ago when i heard you slagging someone in the ring off

 

hows this for show pony,ive seen you put a pup in an adult class just to get a rosette when you missed the puppy class.

 

the yorkshire show pony we know you are refering to all the time does not walk out of the ring sulking he takes a judges decision as he unlike you has a life he also does not dig great big holes and jumps down them to take a picture of themselves with a dog so they appear to be some bigtime digger.

 

if you were not such a show pony why dont you just turn up at shows for the craic and maybe put your dog in an entered class,i cant recall you putting a dog in an entered class,maybe you dont fancy putting an dog into a class with marked dogs.

 

anyway just shows how sad you are allibone having to come on this thread and have a snide dig about show ponies in yorkshire

when the thread had up to now been positive, why cant you be chuffed for the winners at nwtf show instead you choose a snidey comment,after all the title of yorkshire show pony of the year definatly a title most people know sits firmly with you.

Might of missed something ere but how did the black dog in the open show get reserve after being judged 2nd too the red one in the coloured class by the same judge
