sandymere 8,263
I’d go for a reasonable priced dry puppy food and table scraps as available, then once or twice a week give meat such as butchers waste lamb ribs etc. By using a complete puppy feed as a basis you avoid any pitfalls of over or underfeeding any ingredients such as to much calcium etc. The meat will give variety and it will be free in the form of rabbits later so get it used to it now. Butchers waste will have a lot less bacteria than pet mince, important if the pup is mixing with children and easier on it’s digestive system. ( be aware that there are risks in feeding bones ). Kitchen scraps are a good source of vegetable matter plus give added variety, avoid onions or garlic.
