markha 99
Well this was a pretty good event for its first at this venue, I only went on Saturday and there was a fair old turnout, So I guess Sunday, being very warm and sunny, would have been a lot busier. Hopefully the ticket sales were good enough to encourage other traders to book stands for next years show, if there is going to be one. Plenty of shooting on offer all day long, great coaching from the BASC team and the 'pool shoot' was also good fun with some very tricky clays. I think that they needed to change the time slots for some of the displays as I know they left the terrier/lurchers show till the very end of Sunday and yet some guy and his daughter were given a prime afternoon slot on Saturday to dazzle us all with fly casting in a field, perhaps another dog display would have been better as there was a seperate are for the fishing anyway. All in all I had a good time, next one for me will be Midlands game fair in September.
