Guest Ditch_Shitter
Have to laugh, Frank; Saw the title of this one and thought, " You should try it in Eire, mate! " ..... Then I saw who'd posted it! True. F*cking terrible, isn't it? But, having arrived here at the end of last March, in a deluge, and having lived beneath that same (seeming) constant deluge till May, I just accepted that this was how it is in my new homeland. Thus I now confidently expect and accept that it'll be like this till May again. Cest la vie. Must admit, I do wet better than cold, myself. Wet means I wear waterproof gear. Ozzie Bush Hat. Double Ventile jacket. Waxed leggins. Gortex boots. I've actually stood there, before now, and been amazed to suddenly realise it's been pissing down around me! Cold though? Have to wrap up like the f*cking Michellin Man. Encumberance. Hate it. Hot means Horse Flies. I may well take an extended holiday to somewhere without those b*****ds this Summer, eh?! Millet: My sympathy, mate! Did ye see and remember where I advised Moll to lose that mud bath outside her door? I had that when I first got here. Know what ye going through and feel for ye. What can we do? Dogs have to get out. Can't be rinsing and towelling their feet at the door every five minutes though. Makes life hell. I wish ye sun shine and dry ground - or else good, council layed tarmack, like I now have!

chillitt 0
we went out this morning, the ferrets came out the holes soaked (on the side of a hill..) and half the rabbits we caught were full of babs! (we got 4 ...) if they are going to breed year round, does that mean we can ferret year round?

Guest JohnGalway
Weather breaking? I'd say it's well and truly effing broken at the minute :11: Headed out with the shottie last night, was lovely outside my front door, dry and not much of a breeze. By the time I'd arrived at the farm around 2.5 miles away could harldy see past the bonnet with rain and it was blowing a gale So I said I'd leave that and ambush a couple of hoodies this morning with an opened wabbit. Alarm went off in the wee hours and again... Drowned out by the noise of the rain falling on the flat roof. Dried out again now, deceptively calm too. I don't trust it!
