Hi guys looking to make up a tripod some one said go to

the garden centre get some plastic covered pea sticks

but how do you fixs 3 together thick or what

There's a few options. A couple of strong rubber bands will do it, keep wrapping them round the sticks til it's solid but flexible enough to move about a bit. I've seen it done with baler twine and all sorts, have a play and see what works for you. Just remember it needs to be able to move around a bit.

I used an exhust rubber Mounting and three garden poles but after using a proper adjustable tripod for the last few months I prefer the adjustable tripod not a diy job

i used a 6 inch section of bike tyre innertube threaded on and rolled back on its self. It works a treat.

I just bolted mine together. On a tripod, one leg will be shorter than the other two (other wise you can not use bolts). I ended up making a short bi-pod which I use for sitting.
