Snaring today

After a quick chat to a few farmers on Friday evening I managed to get a few acres (around ) of one of the farmers.

I arrived on the permission at around 4:45 this morning to take a look around.

My first intentions was not rabbits at but pigeons and crows attacking the cut corn stubble.

At one end of the field there is a golf club bordering it.

As I was walking down the hedge I was amazed by the amount of bunnies bouncing around here.

There must easily of been 50 rabbits here.

After taking 2 with the shotty I went back to the the house to pick up the snares to set them.

I set roughly 60 snares and with any luck I hope to have a big bag tommorrow.

Thanks good manners finally worked for something lol.

 

This permission is alive with pigeons and rabbits so hopefully I will het lucky .

with the amount of rabbits I saw I will be amazed if their all empty although charley has been seen knocking about lately lol

my wires are empty despite being overrun with the "poor ikkle fluffy bunnies" I am just learning though.

 

Out of interest, what damage to the crows do?

Hi mate

 

Well from what I've been told the crows poo on the hay and this then rots the bales that are sold.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

 

Oh and look at the pinned snaring articles on this they helped me alot .
