The one 8,463
Apparently its a notifiable weed ? but does anybody bother these days Quote Link to post
Malt 379
Apparently its a notifiable weed ? but does anybody bother these days Probably not. The countryside's going to rack & ruin, but they'll still spend a few thousand sending out a chopper to catch a few lads chasing a big rabbit with longdogs.. Quote Link to post
Leeview 791
http://www.theragworthub.co.uk/complaining/index.php Does nt mention fines but there are regulations on Ragwort Y.I.S Leeview Quote Link to post
Malt 379
http://www.theragwor...ining/index.php Does nt mention fines but there are regulations on Ragwort Y.I.S Leeview Cheers for that. If the request to take action is not complied with Defra can take enforcement action under the Weeds Act 1959 where ragwort poses a risk to horses, other livestock, the production of conserved forage or other agricultural activities. I wonder what sort of enforcement action Defra would take, and if they've ever actually taken it? Same with the Rabbit control order, I've never heard of anybody being done by them for failing to control the rabbits on their land.. Quote Link to post
