<br><br>breeding her for a dog that can pick up rabbits she is far to fast and doesnt do too well after 2 hours pups will go

if its rabbits you want put a collie x but if its daylight use a saluki blooded dog, stay away from the bull x's there good for only a couple of things if it bights back of got a huge rack and both of them will get you 12 month :thumbdown:

if your going breed a rabbit dog why the f**k would you use a bit o'bully :doh: if you want to get big stuff then yes but for a rabbit dog bollocks i bet you got some good bull xs for the rabbits you minge

id go for a whippet or a beddy .. good little crosses and both would be great for rabbit.

id probs go more the beddy as i rather the ruff coated lurcher as the seem to get less torn up IMO

why are you breeding?

 

There is lots of factors in deciding to breed a lurcher. Whats the quarry, how much & often do you hunt, where do you hunt, is it for £££'s, is it an armchair hunter experiment?

 

There are lots of quality lurchers being bred in your country from good working dogs.. why not get a dog from there, instead of adding to the surplus of dogs?
