As a newcomer to the board i found this whole thread rather strange but would like to put the following points across;

 

1) Aid workers who work without armed protection in a war zone are a casualty waiting to happen, their sentiment is grand but a dead aid worker helps no one, especially those under the cosh of the taliban?

 

2) Noraid did help fund the provisional IRA and they did kill innocent women and children in the occupied counties and the uk mainland. HOWEVER, the english government also funded the UVF at the time who in turn killed innocent catolic women and children. The English government had been funding the occupation of Ireland since William of Oranges days so killing catholics was an ingrained state terrorism.

 

3) UK vs Argentina - that conflict could have been averted by Margaret Thatcher as the intelligence was there long before the proposed invasion. It suited her government to have a war to be re-elected. The biggest loss of life HMS Sheffield I believe, hit by missles sold by the UK to Argentina?

 

4) USA vs Afghanistan and the rest of the Muslim world - The USA is reaping the seeds sown when it trained the Mudjahdeen to fight the soviet's. They trained them, equipped them and now it has come to bite them in the ass! The same thing happended when they sold WOMD to Saddam and then he refused to be a puppet for the USA government. It is no coincidence that these two conflicts are in areas identified as areas with massive natural oil/gas reserves or mineral deposits? The USA is driven by the mighty dollar and most of that wealth is held by a few individuals, many who are Jewish and actively pursue an anti arabic/muslim agenda.

 

All unnecessary loss of human life is regretable but to generalise about massive ethic/religious groups is counter productive....and produces just the arena the militants need to grow the cancerous views.....JMHO
