beddy x whippet

alrite lads been thinking bout getting a beddy x whippet for a while now i will be doing a fair bit of ferreting with it but i will also be wanting to go lamping can [NO TEXT TALK] tell me if it would be up to 4 and 5 hours lamping b ecause i have heard people say there only good for ferreting

Mine does OK on the lamp, but he's one of the taller ones. (22") Haven't had big bags because of the ground he's been run on up until know, but he's had as many as other types have had there.

My mate's dog is faster as you'd expect, but mine has a faster recovery time between runs.

Mine doesn't mind it, he loves it outside. If the kitchen door is open, he's outside lying in the garden 90% of the time, even if it's pissing down with rain!

thats good to hear i had heard alot of people saying they hate the cold i will defanetly be getting one now i alredy got 2 bull x a dog and a bitch they have very good stamina but they lack in take off speed so hopefully a beddy whippet will sort that out

Mine is very quick off the mark, but lacks a little top speed. Still fast enough for rabbits though, and my mate used to use his (pre ban) doubled up with a Bull x for charlie. The fields are on the small side where he used to work them, with loads of hedges. The smaller dog used to get to charlie first and turn them away from the hedges, straight into the path of the oncoming wrecking machine!

Just going on wat i have seen and owned the beddy crosses have never been lacking in the stamina and recovery department .

My lads beddy/grey x whippet,stamina packed,but a fairly light bitch.

Some may have stamina,but not enough for what I wanted in a lurcher..they do look good though dont they, I just love these dogs..
