Foreign Mutts.

Recommended Posts

Alright, seen a few different types of running dogs in my travels. Most i've come across in discussion amongst dog men as well - such as the Azawak, Sloghi and Rampur. But two i have never heard mentioned but thought were pretty cool were the Chart Polski (Poland) and the i-Twina (Eastern and Southern Africa) - does anyone have any experience of these, knowledge or has indeed also seen them over seas?

I see Chart Polski occasionally. Medium size boney greyhound with a long tail. Can't distinguish them from russian chorts or galgo or cold climate smooth saluki. Basically the same thing. The only factor that separates breeds like this is modern man who wants to split types into breeds. They are all "hounds" and the good ones catch game and stay in one piece doing so.

So do I, last time at the Rother Valley show! :D

Seriously, think he would be one of a few on here who would know more about these dogs, hence his name.
