Ferret boxes

I intend to make a travelling box for my 2 ferrets.

Is it best to have seperate compartments or will they be ok together?

Do they live together? If so yes, if not then you may have problems, but nothing serious.

Yes they do live and play well together.

I wondered if being boxed close together would be ok for up to 1-2 hours max.

mine live together and are boxed up aswell for a hour till i reach the farm bud should not be a problem

Just make the box as big as you can and it should be okay i carry 4/6 jills in mine and they seldom squabble in the box

Oh and make sure you can sit on it, comes in handy if the grounds damp come brew time

if you do stick your big ole arse on it when you have a brew make sure the air holes are on the sides not the top.

A point to consider is that if theres many ferrets in one compartment they all tend to jump out when you open the box. I find it much easier to have one or two in each compartment to save messing about if you don't want to use them all at once.
