Ferreting On Tuesday.

Had another morning out ferreting with gingerbob on tuesday. We were going on some new land that he hadn't been on before and the farmer said there were a few rabbits in various places. We were only doing a few hedgerow warrens and a couple positioned on the side of a wood.

I took my terrier and gingerbob took his Grandson Jordans dog Magic, which is a whippet type. Both dogs worked well and all the warrens they marked proved to be occupied.

I didn't take my camera on the day and only managed to take this picture of the catch and Magic in the evening before we went to the greyhound track. We managed 12 rabbits, all good strong big uns and hopefully there will be some more sport on this farm to follow

Nice bunnys and dog, looks more whippet then anything else. How does it perform as a catch dog, for the ones that slip the nets ect?
