Wouldnt be to hasty gettin rid of the HW100 it still comes in handy for barn and shed work when your out after rat and feral pigeon ,unless its only bunnies you go for .All the best anyway my .22lr is a 1976 model bought second'ish hand and is still acurate with the right ammo.

Your right about the HW Mr TP,once you've used the .22 rimmy that's the air rifle redundant....just like my AA410c.

Funny you should say that fired my first 22 Rimfire this week and just put in for my fac this morning

I wouldn't say the rimmy completely replaces an air gun. There are times and places where, for various reasons, the rimmy just isn't appropriate. Whether it's because the ground is too small, or the .22 might potentially damage buildings, there ARE times when the air rifle is still the best tool.

Also, for first time issues, the .22 will probably be on a "closed" ticket, so you have to get the police to come and approve new land before you can shoot over it. This is no good if a farmer has a problem that he wants dealing with urgently, so you can lose many a good permission if you don't have the air rifle in your armoury to fall back on, while you're waiting for the FEO to come have a looksee!

Course the rimmy is so much more gun than the air rifle, and I agree in most cases I would choose that over the air rifle, but it's not a complete coup!
