i have a double treadmill which i put the dogs on to keep them in peak condition, any one else use them for there dogs

Thay have there uses i supose, but not for me, i would be terrified of forgetting a dog left on.

 

if your short of time, you cant beet getting them behind the mottor, even if im off out early morning i can take the dogs for 15 mins and they would have covered 3 mile or so and not just a trot, but with a few sprints in.

Tried mine on one I bought , they just never took to it, so I sold it and bought a bike,which they love following, my legs onthe other hand hate the bike, wishthey had took to the mill

bang on tomo hole point of owning working dogs is to gets out there and enjoy them, walks as well as field work.

most have an inbuilt safety system,once its pulled off the treadmill stops,this should be attached to the dogs collar as a just in case for obvious reasons (should never be left unattended on one anyway)

i use mine once a week as there is one night when its impossible for me to get them out so good solution in my eyes,perhaps all the f*****g guests that read all your threads should get one,give them something useful to do

ive never used them, i keep my dog fit by giving him loads of work and taking with me when i go jogging. i like to get myself fit as well as the dog.

when i had mine it was mostly for when it was really crappy wet weather,because i often think i'll take them a bit further tomorrow usually never happened

a good walk to the kebab shop keeps my lot fit and having a 19 year old son who is bionic and thinks nothing of walking for 3 hours at a time!!
