my beddy learnt recall to whistle overnight :toast: ,no treats just plenty of praise,if he doesnt listen i shout him in a gruff voice,he soon comes,but thats very rare,and whistle him on his way back.could a terrier learn the drop and stay?

Quartering is when ,say your working open land ,a moor or large field , you work the dog into the wind to catch any incoming scent, you train the dog to work back and forth across the wind covering much more ground than if the dog just runs away and back in front of you. Mike.

Yes mate, although all obedience training is a whole lot easier if done before entering. Mike.
