socks 32,253
wow, theres something I've learned today, I've always read that tripe is high protein, well you live and learn, my pups also have SA37 suppliment mixed with there food, and my bitch had it threw her pregnancy too, as well as raspberry leaf's I've tryed the BARF diet but my dogs didn't thrive on it at all, it went straight threw them, they enjoy the odd chicken wing still how long did you try them on a natural diet for ???????? skycat 6,173
Tina: don't try and change their diet all at once: if you are feeding complete, take out a tablespoon ful of complete and put the same amount of meat in its place: gradually do this so at the end of 2 weeks they are just on raw: it can take some dogs that long to adjust. Also, you may find that there are some changes in there coats etc over a period of up to 3 months. I know someone who's dogs went all scurfy after about 1 month, then it cleared up and they now have coats that shine like glass. Another bonus of feeding raw meat and bones is that you shouldn't get smelly breath (not you personally!), and a lot of anal gland problems dissapear as well. Quote Link to post
