has anybody ever got an eel on a spinner

hi just wondering if anybody has ad an eel on a spinner as i was fishing the severn in shewsbury with my 9 year old lad and he griped 1 on the lure he was useing it was a good foot an half and i never have done this or heard of it. he babbed himself it was realy funny

Eels are predators as well as scavengers so they will take dead and dying fish. your spnner could of looked like a dying fish so the eel took it only ever caught one eel it took an 18 mm boilie and tied about 600 knots around itself and my hand

couldnt hazard a guess how many fresh water eels i have caught.although i spin,wobble bait fish and dead bait,ive yet to catch an eel spinning or wobbling OR witness anyone else do so.
