well., i am thinking of starting to fish for pike and tench i usally fish for trout and roach was wondering how to setup a proper float rig for deadbaiting and best rig for tench thanks

cant help with the pike rigs don't do much pike fishing but for your tench rig always make sure you plummet your swim if float fishing so you are fishing just over depth or try a method feeder using pellet if were your fishing allows use a short 4in hook length i done well Sunday using the method hope this helps . ...john

thanks for your replie there great help still no joy with the tench are they hard to catch ?any pic of rigs would be very helpful am just use to hook and slipt shot and stick float thanks

good luck with the tench, i spent a whole night out hunting them right through to the next day.

hooked 1 only to loose it before i even seen it but i will have 1 before the year is out

aye, for the tench, floatfish, with the last shot over depth for the lift method, hir riged lunchoen meat, size eight super specalist (you can go smaller but i find these superb) and pro gold 8lb straight thru, Peter drennon mini onion float, 3 bb. superb tinca fun

thanks for replys keep at it niall what bait you use ? how do you setup the lift up method? i know plenty of places were there are just dont bite have to beat them some way
