danebrewer10 6
HI all, I'm looking at saving up for a shotgun in the 10-15K range, something special nothing too old, preferably english , or a new gun, looking at the Merkel 60E, 65E, and 45E S/S guns, does anyone know anything about them? on the web they look like fine guns, obviously will go on for ever, (they are german after all)- looking to november for some help here, as I don't have easy access to either a Frankonia store or Suhl..... danebrewer10 6
Yeah I looked on their site after seeing something on them on the fieldsports channel, appareltly they were at the CLA this year, I must've missed them, beautiful guns but way outside my price range... it's a shame that you can't get a decent english gun at a reasonable, (ie cheaper) price having said that there is a massive ammount of work that goes into them.... I'd be interested to see what would happen if the English gun makers clubbed together and made shotguns like the spanish do under a new name, at better prices for us mere mortals, made and finished in england! now that could be a sucess story..... I very much doubt it however..... Edited August 3, 2010 by danebrewer10 Quote Link to post
