stubby 175 Posted August 2, 2010 Report Share Posted August 2, 2010 I tell you, this has really pi$$ed me off today. forum rules dictate that to sell livestock you need to be a DONATOR now I bend the rules a little on the ferret forum, as I dont like the idea of 100's of ferrets being dumped in rehoming centres, you wont find that rule bending in the dog sections so I then place two "pinned" topics at the top of the ferreting section ferrets for sale ferrets for free is it rocket science to notice those two posts and add posts to them I think not, yet constantly posts are added in wrong sections, now Im affraid I have a life outside of the hunting forum, I do not sit here every day for the fun of it, transferring wrongly placed posts, so, I first look at the members post count, if its less than 100 or a new member, I occassionaly move it to the correct area, and pm them of their mistake but with longer standing members, should I be running around wiping their nose for them, I think not poacherkev, you were pm'd before, yet rather than reply directly to me via a private pm, you think posting in the general section, will get you the support from others to call me names make you feel better will it how about instead, I say *uck it, why should I bother, shall I remove those two pinned topics in ferreting, and say sod it to everyone with excess kitts, tell them if they want to advertise them, to post them in the "for sale section" oh, and by the way, you'll need to be a DONATOR to do that, something that your not maybe we'll leave it to a vote of what should happen.... SEAN3513 7 Posted August 2, 2010 Report Share Posted August 2, 2010 well said stubby !!!!! maybe if they knew what was involved being a moderator, they would keep quiet. the amount of posts that have to be checked , cleaned up, moved , deleted, just because some members think they dont need to follow the rules or cant be arsed reading the rules in the first place. all of the mods bend the rules sometimes.....but we are damned if we do and damned if we dont. the simple answer to all of this is: if you dont like ........ go somewhere else !!!!! this is a superb forum......learn from it and add to it, follow the rules (which are pretty basic) and whats the problem ???? please use the forum as intended and dont give us moderators a hard time, as said, we have lives away from here and we do our best and with a forum of over 25,000 members we do have our work cut out ( all for free as well , remember) thanks sean Quote Link to post Share on other sites

I dont want any special treatment stubby just fair play if you want to use your power to ban me then so be it all im saying is use your power to get ride of the real assholes who make your life and everybody else a pain.
