stiggy 6 Posted July 31, 2010 Report Share Posted July 31, 2010 following on from another thread about first aid kits it got me wondering what people carry when out? i spend a lot of time well off the beaten track, just me and the dog. i got a small ex forces rucksack, it lives in the hall and i just pick it up on way out i carry a small first aid kit good knife goretex bivi bag- folds into racksack liner as a back protector maps of area, compass and gps, the gps a bit of a hobby and i trying to learn how to use it... dog whistle small torch lighter binoculars water bottle may seem a bit extreme to some but when your miles from nowhere and got no phone signal it could be of use... what do you carry? cheers Quote Link to post Share on other sites
