hedz31 1,308 Posted July 31, 2010 Report Share Posted July 31, 2010 today has been a rather sad day,at 4.10am this morning g.hedley lost his fight to cancer after a two year struggle the reason i write this is as a mark of respect he was not the best known man in the country for his lurchers as he always kept himself to himself but he was the man that inspired me and showed me the way from being a child his strain of lurchers greyhound/deerhound/collie were some of the best ive seen and were a credit to the time and dedication he put in to them ,he was honest and fair and never made a penny from his dogs and taught me many things through my life with hunting dogs and he is and will be the man i will always strive to be like with my dogs and if i do half of what that fella did i will be a happy man REST IN PEACE OLD MAN Quote Link to post
