bobslurchers 1
As the topic title what is the best and cheapest way to do this? Until now i have been using stronghold and the other one (begins with A- advantix?) and alternating them for best resistance so they get the tick cover from stonghold and the worm cover from the other one. I have also been using the wormer the vet gave me (think it begins with D- sorry really bad at remembering names of this stuff). My question is this the best way to of treating the dogs for worms/fleas or is there a better product out there? Also as this stuff is prescription only, ive been paying the vets £11 (per dog and they only do 6 months) for them to do the letter to let me buy in bulk on line. I dont mind paying the cost as id rather prevent them getting stuff than have to pay out to have them fixed/pts if they get ill, just wondering if there was a better way of doing it if you have more than one dog. Ive seen some place abroad selling this stuff quite cheaply, and with no prescription needed, but am a bit dubious about it arriving and also it being genuine stuff. Has anyone from here ordered from one of these places?

potshot 0
Treat them separately. Hyperdrug Flea and tick treatment - last for ages. Then alternate using drontal and panacur not more than six months apart as they both treat diffrenet worms.

Mrs A.R.D 53
we use frontline spray and milbemax wormer, my vet sorts me out at a very good price for both because we buy in bulk. our area has just had its first confirmed case of lungworm so im sticking to milbemax for now. I hadnt thought of googling them, im just wary of getting anything ordered over the net with a card (as had all my money pinched before after a day out in London). Ta for the ideas of other products, do you have links where to get them from? As ideally i need to be able to buy in bulk with no prescription needed, as vets will only give 6 months (new school type vets around here). Also need to make sure they cover most bugs, as frontline wont work in my area.
