A good pre ban deer dog imo is one that has been shown enough to know what it's doing and to do it well. I don't think there is a 'bset' cross.

Of course its possible but imo an 8month old pup shouldnt be allowd near anything big untill its fully matured both physically and mentaly . Like i said this is just my humbe opinion and i aint looking for an arguement

of course storm dog, no one asked the circumstances but i shall tell ya, he was ran doubled up with a proven dog and it was justa little species

it all depends on what sort you are running as most will do roe ,but for the bigger stuff i like a good strong dog that can stick plenty of runs .the type of breed dont really matter as long the dog can do its job
