Bobba_fett 117
I have a year old German wire haired pointer X lab and she is for ever whining, I'll shout at her and she'll stop for a bit then start again and if i go out or take another dog out she howls and sets the other dogs off. all my dogs at some point have whined in the kennel some 4 longer than others but i have always got them into line but no matter what i do, shouting, ignoring her and sparying her with the hose but nothing has worked. any ideas? cheers, Tom Quote Link to post

Guest it's all my land after 12
citronella collar (spelling) been told they work quite well . £ tho yeh ...they work well ...better than the electric collar for this cos it sprays the dog every time it whines...even when your not about, unlike the electric one which is very useful with the buzzer etc but you gotta be near the dog all the time. liftboy1 0
My pup would bark if left in the kennel, and would sometimes bark for hours on end, Soaking him with a hose was crap to be honest, he used to open his mouth and sort of eat the water, but a full bucket of water waiting on the lawn, once he started barking, I would run as quickly as possible out the back door and launch the bucket over him. And it has stopped completely now. Quote Link to post
