i have seen in the past rifle rest that hang on the side of landrover doors, does anyone know where these are from or are the home made?

Have a look at ebay item no. 320568138648. Is that what you're looking for? I've seen a few bag type rests too, that sit over the window, but can't find any of those at the moment.

ahh yes something like that. except they were less complicated, literally just hooked on to the side of the landy door.

If you are wanting to go down the DIY route why not get a couple of hoses (similar to the ones you get on the back of a washing machine) and cut them so you can put them over the edge of your window.... job done.

no, they were metal and stuck out the side, simailr to the ebay one. then had lagging on it. it was almost like a front rest on a quad/rest on high seat, but out the side of the truck.
