Phantom 631
Yes a pump such as the FX or the Hills stirrup pump will do you just fine You may need to purchase the filling adaptor, however they usually come with the gun itself. What PCP are you thinking of? Phantom Quote Link to post

Phantom 631
Hi bud, I'm okay thank you I'm pretty sure the BSA Scorpion that I used last week was a Spring Pistol?? :11: Ive not shot the BSA's apart from Zini's R10 and that pistol both were very accurate. But yes a simple Stirrup pump will suffice, although if you dont like the physical effort, then a Divers bottle is more the way to go. Personally, I'll stick to the pump Personally while my gun is butt ugly its THE Ideal starter PCP Air Arms S200 in a bikini rather than the one piece. Ugly as sin, but exceptionally accurate and (wait for the slatings to begin) takes down Cottontails at 60+ yards in .22 The price you've been given seems good to me, but there are other BSA owners on here that will know more about their pro's and con's (if any!) and will be able to offer more direct and this valuable advice than I can on that particular gun Phantom Quote Link to post
Ron Weasley 83
The Scorpion is definitely a PCP Phantom. In fact, the R10's action is based very much on that of the Scorpion. For £380 with a scope, I'd go for it mate. Remember to budget for a pump too, they're not all that cheap. You'll get the filling probe with the rifle, as you said. It's definitely worth looking at the Ultra too. I bought a single shot ultra tactical last week and I've been astounded by how good it is, especially considering the rifle itself was less than £300 brand new. As Tony has already mentioned, the S200 is a great rifle, but if you're looking for a brand new one, you may find that the price difference between that and an S400 isn't very much- in fact my local gunshop doesn't stock the S200 any more for just that reason. Let us know how you get on. Quote Link to post
Phantom 631
Its also a Pistol (or at least the one I shot at the weekend is) http://www.google.co...=1t:429,r:5,s:0 But the one I had me mitts on had a scope on it! I hate pistols with scopes! Phantom Quote Link to post
