AKeeNShoT 5
ok lads and lasses what type of dog is everyone useing this year when they go ferreting . i,m useing my beddyxwhippet and hope to start a young 5/8x3/8 beardie greyhound at the end of febuary next year fingers crossed ,i,ll be out next week with my terriers flushing bunnys to the shotty as ive seen a few in the reeds and brambles the farmer asked me to pop up and sort them out for him and to shoot the last of the feral pigeons in his sheds later that day. would be nice to hear what other people are useing as i,ve met folk who use alsorts of dogs to ferret with mostly house pets e.g rough collie....a beagle...sprockers.....a husky.....and spent a couple of hours watching a mutt-57 doing a great job granted these dogs might not be everyone cup of tea but it shows most pet types can do a bit given the chance Quote Link to post
Sorley x 32
Are we talking about a ferreting dog or a dog taken ferreting? Haven't seen many of the former but plenty of the later. Quote Link to post
