FoxyWarrior 17
ItS not clear from what iv written above, but it was my brothers car we were in he was also with me and a friend was with us too. My brother will be calling the police tomorrow, at the least its threatening behaviour. Cheers Lads. So 3 of you walking a dog (Lurcher) farmer see's you all. Dog has wondered off for what ever reasons. I can see why the farmer was angry with you and why he questioned you, and why he called the police. It's not a waste of tax payers money, thats their job to deal with rural crime. Fast and efficicent method. You cant beat the eye in the sky, and this could of been a genuine incident involving poaching. If he did use threatening behaviour then report him and explain to the police how he made you feel at the time of saying it to you. And then add that you use the same footpath with your family and children, and now you fear that he may approach you in the same manner but this time with a weapon. Quote Link to post

They would be rather flying around than dealing with robberies and break ins. Trying to catch someone with a big rabbit which aren't protected and at a cost of thousands. People are complaining about being robbed and they can't do anything about it, chase a rabbit with a dog and out comes the helicopter. Well done. Quote Link to post
watchman 256
iv also had the helicopter over me at night while out lamping, they flashed the night sun at me so i put my lamp on them then they f****d off,id like to think they was just curious and not sent out just for me at the tax payers expense as i was on permission at the time Quote Link to post
shepp 2,285
They are just boys with toys and lets face it, must be much more fun than actually doing real police work :wankerzo4: Quote Link to post

romany52 313
Need not be all bad, just coming off permission one day and this big 4x4 comes roaring up ,out jumps a big bloke, says "I've been watching you flying your bird " oh yes I said ! anyway he says he's got some land up the road covered in rabbits and I can fly there any time I like. So off I go to have a look, it's down the end of a long track, on the way back to the car, by now it's getting dark, I see a 4x4 turn into the track, close behind a tractor swings across the track and blocks it. The dog starts to growl behind me, another two blokes are following me up the fields, get back to the car and I've got the heavy mob, anyway once they calm down, I explain what I'm doing and to cut a long story short I come away with permission on their farms as well! Flamin'Nora! 50
I would go with romanys advice keep going back as much as you can show them your not going to be intimidated, your not doing anything wrong and it will take time if the farmers a grumpy sort but eventually they will realise your a permanent fixture and they may as well leave you in peace. Well done on keeping calm as well, its not easy sometimes! Quote Link to post
Ashover rabbit dogs 76
we used to get the coppers alot when just walking the pack. one time we where in some woodland apparently badger baiting lol the coppers came and we took them on the run around for about 20 mins, when we let them catch up they were covered in shite and couldnt do a thing to us, they asked us why we had sticks with us? wtf! its a waste of money sending them out especially when some old dear could be getting robbed and the cops are chaseing dog walkers. Daveo when the season comes bring spider up our way we've got some cracking land for the young lurchers, id love to see her do her thing bless her. atb mrs A.R.D Quote Link to post
