Hi my new ferrets are still nipping me, but they are not doing it as bad as first should i keep doing what am doing which is holding them and if they try to bite i flick their nose.

I wouldn't bother flicking it's nose mate - it will just end up associating you with getting hurt. Just make sure they are fed, and handle them - they will eventually stop. You can also use ferretone.

To be honest if someone flicked my nose i would bite there f*****g head off .. simply handling them correctly & plenty of it .. couple it with a meat diet &y you wont go far wrong

when my kit bites to hard i screem as loud as i can, poor little thing jumps out his skin, but he dont bite again, well not antill next time he gets carrid away lol

Just hold it in one hand and run your other hand down its body that should relax it and you dont need to nose flick

Sounds silly but stick some washing up liquid on your hands before handling them, they hate the taste and wont bite

hi matey are you mistaking mouthing for biting , ferrets love to play which means mouthing each other young or old your just joining in the game, well handled and well fed ferrets should be no problem , ive had ferrets for 20 year and only been bit twice and that was my own fault !!. forget about shouting or smacking ferrets , handled them every time.
