a dog that was special to me was called rebel he was bred from no big names but he did what was asked of him time after time and dug good places where other dogs had failed. i would be kidding my self if i said he never failed as he did the season gone he was my main dog and got dug to a fair few times i lost him on last day of season in a easy enough spot due to a fall in ... the dog taught me a lot and as said early put me in other directions where digging terriers are concernd hopefully i will replace him one day

3 or 4 days before i lost him

its fact, ive checked it out with local folk from up his way when i got the heads up. he apprently pretends to be a pest controller. i know i shouldnt really put it on here because he still breeds proper plummer terriers and lurches (old type) and gets pissy when everyone pms him about them. id be proud of it!

Best dog I've ever worked/seen work was a mates Middleton bred Lakeland. PTS a couple of years ago he was supposedly bred from a dog called Zeb I think. Very hard dog who destroyed foxes & knew how to control game without taking too much abuse bearing in mind how hard he was. His last dig he lost most of his armoury to a little vixen in a tight place which ended his career at the age of 10. Had some cracking days with him, never needed more than one hole. If he caught the game mid tube there was no need to hurry as it was going nowhere no matter how long we took. He could turn a long dig into a short one, RIP Digger

ahh,,little vixens and tight places can sort the best out..
