jack crowley 5
there no need for a collar to be as strong as STRONGSTUFFS I bought a couple of them and i still perfered the leather ones there to big and bulky ,,look better on a elephant Quote Link to post

Molie1337 35
ive got one of these,Halyard snap shackle tie the main lead to the load bearing bit, and a bit of para cord on the keyring bit, drop the main lead and the clip comes un-done! to be honest though, its on the end of a bit of rope and i use the rope as a normal slip, and the clip as a normal lead. just an idea! weasle 1,119
Rope for me,and a coller no wider than half inch, the dog needs to be able to move its neck,in alsorts of ways while trying to catch agile prey. The big collers you see now must restrict its movement. Quote Link to post
dirty twister 31
I usually buy a cheap "ratchet tie down" at the pound shop. I tie a handle at one end and melt the other. It works very well, its lightweight and strong ratchet strap matey cant be beaten!!! Quote Link to post
Bullcat 12
save money and dont slip them work them lose I was doing this, but I`m tired of them chasing big Roo`s that could make short work of a good dog. Quote Link to post
Bullcat 12
I`m using rope at the moment, and although it works well... I just wanted to know if there was anything better out there. Quote Link to post
optimus 447
What are the best slip leads and collars on the market today? I USE A RED STRAP SHOW LEASH. THEY ARE CHEAP ENOUGH & BRIGHTER COLOUR IS EASIER 2 FIND IF DROPPED.WRIST IN HANDLE & END WITH SILVER RING THROUGH COLLAR BACK 2 HAND. BINGO!. ALSO DOUBLES AS LEASH WHEN DOG HAS HAD ENOUGH SO U ARE NOT TEMPTED 2 GO FOR ANOTHER SLIP WHEN UR DOG HAS HAD ENOUGH/OR YOU HAVE 2 VACATE THE AREA PRONTO IF U HAVE WANDERED OFF THE BEATEN TRACK. killa-combo 142
whats wrong with a good bit of thin gauge rope!? good old piece of rope is the best way mate beat them fancey things them fairys use haha Quote Link to post
cúagusgiorraí 57
I`m using rope at the moment, and although it works well... I just wanted to know if there was anything better out there. I used to use a bit of rope, but found it hurt my hand after a few hours of the dogs pulling, but the "ratchet tie down" strap never hurts my hand. Its dead cheap anyways, and easily replaceable Quote Link to post
