wildfowling dog

been thinking about another dog , pup or a re-home dog ? more of company when out shooting

i would not expect too much only the odd retrieve wildfowling and rabbits from the woods we have to keep clear

any sujestions about the subject

I work a Lab, she is not quite 1.5years but doing well, i use her mainly on rabbit and other vermin, but she works well on game birds and she had her first warm water retrieve at the weekend (just started a thread with some pics) it was a couple of canada geese and she handled them no prob.

 

You say you are looking for another dog, what type do you have or have had in the past.

i wonder if the local rescue has one , dont want to breed off it so dont need papers ,.........hmmmmmm

got to be , no use buying pedigree dogs if your not breeding from them

never bred off any of my dogs
