Im just wondering folks how small you can get adult ferrets? my mate has a really small adult jill

what you call a "pencil" ferret, is a normal ferret just a small one

no not end of chat, some other people might want to give their advise on small ferret strains

One of my jills is tiny. After her summer moult she looked like a scrap of nowt ! So much so that she's been nicknamed " Little Tot ". She's a tetchy fecker mind, and i reckon she's got bigger bollox than both my hobs

Aye they do and do not exist. Small ferrets can be selectively bred but it means different things to different people. How small is small - i have a jill thats half the size of one of my other jills but i wouldn't think of her as 'pencil' or 'micro' as i wouldn't call the other one my 'badger ferret' or 'giant ferret'. Once they start getting names they become marketable as a must have ferreting accessory. jmo anyways . . . .
