problem!!!

my 19'' tts bedlington retrieves rabbit skin dummies and tennis ball spot from cover right up to hand, but when out walking if its throne into some cover he'll chase it the pick it up but hold it at the front of his mouth and bring it to me then drop it infront of me as if to say here you have it,ive started putting it in his mouth and making a massive fuss over him,has anyone had this before?any sollutions? thanks

when he gets near you try backing up so he has to keep coming then stop and get it with loads of praise.worth a try :thumbs:
