just wandered how many keep their larsen traps going all year ,or does everyone finish up about now!!

yes put my trap away for another yr, give it a good wash down and a clean,and re painted the wooden frame,tally for the yr was 31,so I am well pleased,

how did anyone else do this yr

weve had 26 in the past 6 weeks think were going to keep a couple of traps going for a while

Now I am confused , I did'nt know there was a larsen trap season , whats going on guys ,

 

its not really a season, just alot easier to catch corvids early on in the year when they are more territorial, it is possible to catch all year but its a long slog to keep checking the traps all day when you have other jobs to do as well so people try and give them a good hammering in the spring

Its easier to catch them when there territorial while there nesting ,if you want to control them all year try a baited letter box trap
