dont rate them in the same league as your winter browns mate brown hares seam to be faster on the turn and they know exactly where there going every hedge every bit of cover they will use to there advantage they have the advantage of cover compared to the open of the white hares only my opinion

yes i know [banned Text] i have noticed that brown hares are faster on the turns and blues hares just keep on running and running but the brown ones look for cover cheers m8t for your advice

Over the years i have ran both in numbers. Of course the brown hare is a superior athelete, but the blue hare should not be slated for good times can be had hunting this quarry. Everyone seems to compare these two together.....run them for what they are without comparisons......i used to love hunting them on the moorland and once on the burnt heather they sure can move :icon_eek::icon_eek::icon_eek: best i ever got was 7/7 with scoob. I used to like watchiung the dog hunt them up, flush them, run them down and retreive them to hand......good sport..... :clapper: Brown hares are faster and have more stamina.... ;) good hunting......JD
