not me. keep them hungry, they work better. but not too hungy they kill and lie up. if you didnt have to work for your food you wouldnt bother would you?

but if ur ferrets hungry wouldn't it kill in and stay??

This is probably going to offend you but if your ferrets need to be hungry to work well them they are not very good ferrets. Mine are not working for food, hence if they kill they just go looking for other rabbits and dont feed, they are working because thats what they love to do.

dont feed the night before they have dry food available all the time but i will feed liver, kidney during the day when out never had any problems only dig when one has a rabbit/rabbits pinned nerver had one curl up.

i work mine hungry, not starving , just hungry , i have tried feeding before work and they don,t work half as well, they will bolt or kill and move on , but as i want the rabbits , i get a mark and dig , leaving dead or dying rabbits in a set is just a waste to me,i have passed up a days ferreting cos my ferrets are just fed and i know they will not work as well, when i walk away from a set i know its empty 99% of the time, everyone to thier own , but hungry ferrets for me everytime

i always tend to feed the stinkers a little something before going out, even then they somtimes kill and lie up(nearly allways lol)
